Pinus caribaea var. hondurensis is a tropical pine with great commercial importance. The pine is native to Central America and the Caribbean, widely planted throughout the American, Asian and African tropics and subtropics. The main uses are: fuel, pulpwood, timber, resin and land reclamation.
